Tugs#403

I think it would be cool and needed to have tugs that take planes to maintenance, hangars, and stands to wait for its departure if the plane has a long layover in the airport this would be a cool and realistic feature and I also think it is needed in big airports like JFK and LHR for gate space to open up and also tugs to take the plane back to the gate for departure like I have had problems at jfk with the gates being occupied so tugs would be helpful

A pretty good idea I do think that this would makes things more realistic and in JFK for example some planes stay in a gate for hours and hours so gate space could open up and new planes could come in this would make realistic schedules possible

would love to see ts also

yes especially at terminals 1 and 4 at jfk they dont have enough gates for the amount of planes that come in so towing would be lovely for the game

I like this and would certainly play it but i do think if they add it it should be an option to use for some people might now want an extra thing on their shoulder but i would certainly use it

I just responded to this one cuz I also have the same problem at JFK where planes don’t spawn because of limited gate space like a plane landing at 12 and departs at 8 would definitely get towed to wait

BOS and JFK need this

I do see the need in this in real life gate space is a problem and then in the game no tug operations can affect the real life feeling so I get my this is getting lots of attention

Maybe like a Delta 767 at jfk arrives at 11 am then departs at 8 pm same day it would get towed to a waiting place or a pilot noticed something wrong with a Jet Blue A320 before its flight so the plane gets towed to maintenance I think this is what your asking for (would agree this is needed)

It seems jfk is the talked about airport in this post I made a tug map its not completely accurate and the tug spots are wrapped around in red along with maintenance hangars where planes would get towed to

Note: The callsign would be like DeltaTug1 DeltaTug2 QatariTug1 SpeedbirdTug1 Jetbluetug1 etc.

Talking about tug-names is not a thing (yet). Let’s hope it gets implemented as soon as possible.

Perhaps there will be an extra file to name the tugs as it isn’t only valid to US airports ;)

Lets hope but not to criticize what u said but did the team ever say they will or at least consider implementing tugs? Would hope its true if yes!
